Yesterday, the OC Sheriff’s Department and the City of Rancho Santa Margarita issued a Public Statement confirming numerous public allegations made Thursday by developer Joseph Daichendt (the proponent of “Measure Z”) against City of RSM personnel were completely false and without merit. On Thursday, Daichendt falsely claimed “This morning I was thrown out of the “State of the City” speech by Mayor Carol Gamble. Mr. Daichendt has recently been exposed for making other false public statements related to his Measure Z ballot initiative. Just days ago, OC Superior Court Judge Kirk Nakamura ruled Mr. Daichendt had made six (6) illegal statements in his official Ballot Argument in Favor of Measure Z. The judge ordered the Registrar of Voters to remove those false statements before they were printed and distributed to voters with their sample ballots so RSM voters would not be deceived by Mr. Daichendt.
Measure Z is opposed by every Mayor in the City of Rancho Santa Margarita’s history – and by a majority of the current RSM City Council and Planning Commission. All RSM Residents are being urged to VOTE NO on Z!
